Qrzy is a free QR code generator. The QR codes you create are built in your browser. We do not run user accounts and we do not send the content of your QR codes to our servers.
What we store
Your saved presets are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and never leave your device. High-resolution PDF/EPS/PNG exports are generated on demand by our server from the options you submit and are not retained after the file is returned.
Camera & images
The built-in QR scanner uses your device camera only inside your browser to read codes. Camera frames are decoded on the fly and are never uploaded, recorded or stored, and you can revoke camera access at any time in your browser settings. Images you add (a logo, or a picture for an artistic halftone QR code) are processed on your device. The one exception is a logo included in a PDF or EPS export: it is sent to our server as part of the export options and is not retained after the file is returned. Pictures used for artistic QR codes are never sent to our servers.
Advertising & cookies
We may show ads from Google AdSense to keep Qrzy free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings. Where required, we ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set. Analytics
If analytics are enabled, only anonymous, aggregated usage data is collected to improve the product. No personally identifying information is sold or shared.
Your choices
You can clear locally stored presets at any time from your browser settings. You can use the generator offline, in which case no network requests are made.
